About Dillon Turner

Dillon Turner, M.S., is a Consulting Meteorologist at Forensic Weather Consultants, LLC, based in Guilderland, New York. He earned his Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas and his Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in Meteorology-Climatology from Arizona State University. His academic background is complemented by experience as a university instructor and a research presenter at the American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting. Since joining Forensic Weather Consultants in 2019, Mr. Turner has served as an expert on more than 1,500 cases and claims, working with plaintiffs and defense attorneys, insurance companies, adjusters, public adjusters, engineers, contractors, and local, state, and federal government entities. His services encompass in-depth meteorological analyses, detailed written reports, client consultations, site surveys, depositions, and expert testimony. He works closely with federal agencies including the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) and the National Weather Service (NWS). Prior to his forensic consulting career, Mr. Turner served as a meteorologist at Versar supporting Department of Homeland Security operations, where he monitored active weather conditions and forecast a wide variety of weather events across diverse geographic locations. He is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and holds a Certified SKYWARN Storm Spotter credential issued by the National Weather Service.
